Description
On Monday May 25th, 2015 aemera.org deployed two portable air quality particulate monitors into the Cold Lake region of Alberta. These monitors provided data on the dust, or particulate matter (PM2.5) levels in the area during the forest fires. They remained on-site until June 1, 2015. This data set provides the particulate matter data for that time period and location, in batches. The data includes hourly data in a graph and tabular format for each day, of the particulate matter levels detected by these monitors at the latitudes and longitudes identified. The air quality objective for particulate matter (80 µg/m3) is also provided on the graphs as a reference. The data are provided in both an Excel format.

Usage Considerations
- PM2.5 refers to very small particles that can be inhaled into your lungs and can be a health concern, depending on the levels of particulate matter in the air. These particles are the major component of the Air Quality Health Index during forest fires.
- The first monitor is identified as "Burnt Gate" and the second as "South Gate".
